EPC-OVERLAY

EPC-OVERLAY is an all-in-one, 100% solids, solvent-free, moisture-insensitive, high-performance, multi-purpose epoxy polymer concrete overlay system. EPC-OVERLAY is designed for use in high-stress applications >3/4” in depth that involve overlaying, patching, repairing, & rehabilitating concrete to create a significant extension in the service life of the deck. This next generation system combines a low-modulus epoxy resin system with a high-quality engineered blend of graded aggregate to achieve the optimal set of characteristics for a polymer concrete overlay system that is both effective and safe to use. Ideal uses include bridge deck overlays, parking deck overlays, joint headers, joint edges, concrete spalls, grade correction, rut filling, concrete floors and loading docks. This product is VOC compliant (0 g/L), with no field chemistry required as an added benefit! EPC-OVERLAY offers a safer, better performing option to other polymer concrete products in the market.

EPX50-OVERLAY

EPX50-OVERLAY is a moisture-insensitive, low-modulus epoxy urethane co-polymer overlay resin, offering longer life cycles than traditional epoxy polymer resins. EPX50-OVERLAY provides a waterproof, chloride impervious coating that is designed primarily for bonding skid-resistant overlays to bridges, elevated slabs and PCCP. In addition to High Friction Surface Treatments, it is also excellent as a binder in epoxy mortars used for patching concrete. Meets ASTM C881 (Type III. Grade 1 & 2. Class B & C.), as well as being NTPEP (HFTO) rated and AASHTO compliant. EPX50-OVERLAY is also VOC compliant, 100% solids and is non-regulated by the DOT for transportation within the United States.

EPX50-OVERLAY FAST

EPX50-OVERLAY FAST is a fast-setting formulation of our EPX50-OVERLAY epoxy urethane product, making it an excellent option for similar projects that require lower temperature applications and shorter lane closures. Cartridge units are also available for treating cracks, repairing spalls, and patching holes from pull-off tests in concrete and epoxy overlays. Meets ASTM C881 (Type III. Grade 1. Class B & C.) and is AASHTO Task Force 34 compliant. EPX50-OVERLAY FAST is also VOC compliant (0 g/L) and is non-regulated by the DOT for transportation within the United States.

EP50-OVERLAY

EP50-OVERLAY is a moisture-insensitive, 100% solids, low-modulus, two-component epoxy polymer overlay resin. EP50-OVERLAY is designed primarily for bonding skid-resistant overlays to bridges, elevated slabs and PCCP. In addition to High Friction Surface Treatments, it is also excellent as a binder in epoxy mortars used for patching concrete. Meets ASTM C881 (Type III. Grade 1. Class B & C.) and is VOC compliant (0 g/L). EP50-OVERLAY is non-regulated by the DOT for transportation within the United States.

High Friction Surface Treatments (HFST)

HFP 1:1

HFP 1:1 is a moisture-insensitive, low-modulus, two-component high friction surface polymer designed for binding High Friction Surfacing Aggregates to asphalt and concrete on grade and elevated surfaces to restore skid resistance and improve pavement friction, helping to improve roadway safety. HFP 1:1 is formulated with higher tensile elongation to allow for non-linear expansion and contraction along with superior retention of aggregates. Specific applications include asphalt roadways, bridge decks, roadway departure areas, horizontal curves, stop zones/intersections, high grade roadways and parking structures. Tested to AASHTO PP79 standards for HFST, this product is NTPEP (HFTO) rated and non-regulated by the DOT for transportation within the United States.

Sealers

EP75-SEAL

EP75-SEAL is a highly penetrating, low-viscosity, two-component epoxy urethane healer/sealer, offering longer life cycles than traditional epoxy polymer sealers. EP75-SEAL is designed to prolong the life of concrete by sealing cracks against moisture and chloride ion intrusion, with a rapid cure time that allows traffic to re-open quickly. It is also excellent for a low-viscosity prime coat prior to the placement of EPC-OVERLAY. Specific applications include bridge decks, parking decks, concrete floors, roadways, airport runways/taxiways, columns & beams in splash zones, and general consolidation of porous & dusting surfaces. EP75-SEAL is VOC compliant (<250 g/L).

EP100-SEAL

EP100-SEAL is a highly penetrating, 100% solids, two-component epoxy healer/sealer. EP100-SEAL is designed to prolong the life of concrete by sealing cracks against moisture and chloride ion intrusion, with a rapid cure time that allows traffic to re-open quickly. Specific applications include bridge decks, parking decks, concrete floors, roadways, airport runways/taxiways, columns & beams in splash zones, consolidation of porous & dusting surfaces, and primer or pre-treatment for subsequent epoxy or urethane deck coatings. Meets ASTM C881 (Type III. Grade 1. Class B & C.) and is VOC compliant (0 g/L).

EP100-SEAL HM

EP100-SEAL HM is a high-modulus formulation of our EP100-SEAL epoxy healer/sealer product, making it an excellent option where minimal movement is desired to facilitate effective stress transfer, such as anchoring and doweling applications or structural crack repairs. Meets ASTM C881 (Type I, II, IV, V. Grade 1. Class C.) and is VOC compliant (0 g/L).

EP100-SEAL LM

EP100-SEAL LM is a low-modulus formulation of our EP100-SEAL epoxy healer/sealer product, making it an excellent option where greater degrees of movement are required, such as bridge deck overlay applications where the material performs better if it is able to move along with the deck instead of cracking. Meets ASTM C881 (Type III. Grade 1. Class B & C.) and is VOC compliant (0 g/L).

EP-CLEARSEAL

EP-CLEARSEAL is a two-component, moisture-insensitive, self-priming, impermeable, high-gloss epoxy sealer that exhibits excellent bond strength. EP-CLEARSEAL uses a cycloaliphatic amine curing system for color retention and chemical resistance making it ideal for sealing interior and exterior concrete floors and epoxy surfaces. By effectively penetrating and bridging moving cracks, EP-CLEARSEAL creates an impermeable seal on hairline cracks. It is also ideal to use as a top dressing for epoxy grout and chock installations or for locking in aggregate on the E-Chem EP-OVERLAY system. EP-CLEARSEAL is VOC compliant (0 g/L) and USDA Approved as an incidental food contact material.

EP-PATCH

EP-PATCH is a three-component, high-performance, 100% solids, multi-purpose, non-shrink epoxy patching mortar. EP-PATCH is ideal for high-stress concrete repair applications such as bridge decks, airport runways, loading docks, and warehouse floors, while being the recommended choice for patching concrete prior to epoxy polymer overlays and other top coatings, since there is no hydration or shrinkage during cure. Meets ASTM C881 (Type III – Resin), FAA specification for patching item P-501.19, and is VOC compliant (0 g/L). Transportation within the United States is non-regulated by the DOT.

Bonding, Anchoring & Doweling Adhesives

EP-GEL FAST

EP-GEL FAST is a two-component, 100% solids, high-modulus epoxy gel adhesive that offers exceptional strength in doweling and anchoring applications. EP-GEL FAST is ideal for adhering dowels, anchoring bolts, and reinforcing steel in concrete for full depth concrete pavement repairs. This versatile product can also be used for vertical and horizontal patching, structural bonding of concrete, or even for sealing cracks and setting injection ports prior to epoxy injection applications. Meets ASTM C881 (Type I, II, IV, & V. Grade 3. Class B & C.), AASHTO M235, and is VOC compliant (0 g/L).

ASF-GEL

ASF-GEL is a two-component, styrene-free, epoxy acrylate adhesive gel with an extended installation range from 15°F to 95°F. This product is ideal for anchoring threaded rod and rebar into concrete or adhering dowel bars and tie bars for full depth concrete repairs. Additionally, ASF-GEL is an excellent adhesive for bonding fresh concrete to hardened concrete, hardened concrete to hardened concrete, or hardened concrete to steel. This fast cure adhesive can also be used as a fast mortar repair for panels and other concrete surfaces. Meets ASTM C881-15 (Type II*. Grade 3. Class A & B.), AASHTO M235, and is VOC compliant (1.85 g/L).

EP-MV

EP-MV is a 100% solids, two-component, high-modulus, medium-viscosity, moisture-insensitive structural epoxy adhesive designed for bonding freshly mixed concrete to hardened concrete, for bonding hardened concrete to hardened concrete and other materials, and as a binder for epoxy mortars. EP-MV may also be used for anchoring bolts or dowels and reinforcing steel in concrete. Excellent adhesion to most materials makes for a versatile, multi-purpose structural epoxy adhesive. Meets ASTM C881 (Type I & II. Grade 2. Class B & C.), AASHTO M235, and is VOC compliant (0 g/L).

EP-SLV

EP-SLV is a 100% solids, high-modulus, moisture-insensitive, very low-viscosity epoxy adhesive for gravity feed or pressure injection of cracks in concrete. EP-SLV is a structural repair adhesive designed primarily for pressure injection and gravity feed crack repair in concrete and masonry. EP-SLV can also be used to heal and seal concrete slabs. Meets ASTM C881 (Type I, II, IV, V. Grade 1. Class C.), AASHTO M235, and is VOC compliant (0 g/L).

EP15-GROUT

EP15-GROUT

EP15-GROUT is a three-component, 100% solids, high-performance, epoxy machine grout designed for high-stress machine base plate grouting applications in the heavy industrial equipment industries. New equipment installations or quick re-grouting applications subject to chemical attack and extreme vibration are also ideal for EP15-GROUT, which is characterized by high early strength, low dust, high bearing area, negligible shrinkage and creep, and excellent flowability. Specific industry uses include wind farms, gas transmission, chemical processing and refining, pulp and paper, steel rail and marine. EP15-GROUT is VOC compliant (0 g/L).

EP15-GROUT XP

EP15-GROUT XP is a low exotherm formulation of our EP15-GROUT product, providing an extended pot life that makes it more user friendly for warm weather applications and deep pour projects that require more working time.

EP20-CHOCK

EP20-CHOCK is a two-component, 100% solids, high-performance epoxy machine chock designed for high-stress machine base plate grouting applications in the heavy industrial equipment industries. New equipment installations or quick re-grouting applications subject to chemical attack and extreme vibration are also ideal for EP20-CHOCK. Specific industry uses include wind farms, gas transmission, chemical processing and refining, pulp and paper, steel rail and marine. EP20-CHOCK offers an effective bearing area of greater than 98% and is VOC compliant (0 g/L).

PILE ANCHOR GROUT

PILE ANCHOR GROUT is a two-component, 100% solids, high-strength, fast-setting, pourable epoxy anchoring grout. PILE ANCHOR GROUT is designed to anchor reinforcing steel and tension connectors in concrete piles and foundations to withstand high dynamic wind, water, and seismic loads. Specific applications include communication towers, rock tie backs, and anchors requiring high load strengths, deep embedments, or large annular spaces. PILE ANCHOR GROUT is VOC compliant (0 g/L).

Other Products

EP-FLEX

EP-FLEX is a two-component, 100% solids, moisture-insensitive joint filler and crack filling material. EP-FLEX is used to fill joints in industrial floors exposed to hard wheeled traffic and to fill Epoxy Grout Expansion Joints. EP-FLEX is useful for contraction/construction joints that are cut or formed and may also be used as a crack filling material for damaged or spalled cracks. EP-FLEX is VOC compliant (0 g/L) and meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact.

C-CLEAN100

C-CLEAN100 is a heavy-duty stripper and degreaser used for general cleaning and degreasing of concrete surfaces, tools, and equipment. It is ideal for removal of curing compounds, acrylic sealers, and waxes from concrete, as well as removing dirt, tire marks, oil spills, grease, and other contaminants. C-CLEAN100 can also be used for cleaning uncured epoxies from tools, equipment, and other surfaces. C-CLEAN100 is biodegradable, non-carcinogenic, and non-mutagenic, while being approved as an inert ingredient by the EPA and approved for use in food contact applications by the FDA, as well as being recognized GRAS.

XD-CURE

XD-CURE is a clear, odorless, water-based concrete curing compound that is formulated to ensure proper concrete strength development, help prevent shrinkage cracks, and leave a bondable surface for further coatings, treatments, or flooring materials. This ready-to-use, non-staining, membrane-forming cure is spray-applied on freshly placed concrete to help control moisture retention for proper cement hydration during the critical curing period. XD-CURE is approved for Drinking Water System Components (NSF-61), VOC compliant (0 g/L), and is non-regulated by the DOT for transportation within the United States. May contribute to LEED credits.
